Rabbit, a 100% oncology-specific EHR, was conceived in Austin, Texas in 2004 by partnering with oncologists, practice administrators, RNs, billers and schedulers. Rabbit EHR received 2011/2012 Complete EHR Certification by an ONC-ATCB in accordance with Meaningful Use Criteria in December 2010.
Rabbit’s EHR looks and functions like a standard medical chart allowing personnel at all levels to easily navigate through the system. Later, and again being responsive to our clients, we developed our Practice Management (PM) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). The EHR and PM offer a superior level of intuitiveness and functionality, and are available as a truly integrated system (one common database, one vendor) and individually as standalone systems.
What distinguishes and defines Rabbit’s technology products is the method of development. From the beginning, and important to all, was meeting those defined objectives that would help physicians increase efficiencies, improve productivity across departments, and most of all deliver better healthcare. Ease of use, intuitive design and simple, one-step processes were achieved; one of the many reasons Rabbit systems are chosen today by cancer centers, hospitals and individual practices.
