• Each physician can create a custom document types such as; new patient consultation, follow-up encounters, procedure notes, hospital admission H & P, and imaging interpretation readings.

o        When the physician selects a new document within the patient’s chart, elements such as the patient’s diagnosis and staging, social history, family history, medical history, last vital signs, medication list, and allergies are automatically pulled in

o        Physicians may provide their own normal templates for physical exams and review of systems or the physician may

o        Doctor’s may dictate directly into the workstation or may edit their progress notes through clickable forms decreasing the need for outside transcription

Referring/Consulting Correspondence

o        Automatic delivery of physician dictation to referring or consulting physicians through auto faxing of approved/reviewed notes.  Or progress note may be auto-printed with contact information printed for use with window envelopes to save administration time.

NCI National Cancer Institute – Adverse Events

• Incorporates the standard for adverse events CTCAE v3 
• Chemo nurse charting visit gets patient symptoms via Rabbit software and grades each symptoms severity (i.e. grade 2 chills, etc)
