Brad Vassberg
President of Rabbit Healthcare Systems
, graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a Liberal Arts/ Business Degree.


His early career experience in the high-tech field includes serving as Network Administrator for Applied Materials in Austin, Texas. Further, as Director of Client Services for Generation IX in Los Angeles, and a Software Engineer for IBM on software management / deployment account.

Most recently Brad served as Chief Information Officer / founding partner of Medisun Consulting, Inc. At Medisun, he assisted medical practices with streamlining business processes, integrating systems hardware, re-capturing lost revenue, and by designing new technology to allow medical practices to interface with multiple industry Practice Management Systems.

His professional certifications include: Member of Health Level Seven (HL7) since 2004, HIMSS sinced 2007, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) – 1998, Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) - 1998.

In 2004, he Co-Founded Rabbit Healthcare Systems, realizing the need for affordable, efficient, and fully integrated EMR systems.


Debby Johnston
Business Development Representative for Rabbit Healthcare Systems has 26 years experience in Health Care administration. Debby brings extraordinary insight to the real needs of a medical practice and has contributed heavily to the successful design and implementation of Rabbit Healthcare Systems EMR solutions.

Debby began her career at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, Texas, where she began as a unit secretary and ultimately worked in Medical records for 3 years. She continued at the Round Rock Hospital, Round Rock, Texas, for 10 years, she ultimately served as Director of Utilization Management/Social Services/Government.

In 1996, she became the Practice Administrator for Lone Star Oncology, P.A. in Austin, Texas. In her role as business manager, she helped grow the practice size to 4 clinics and has steadily increased the profitability of the practice by 35 percent in six years. She has implemented new billing systems, EMR systems, maintained all insurance contracts, and has profoundly contributed to the overall success of the practice. She continues her role as administrator at Lone Star Oncology and currently acts as an advisor to Rabbit Healthcare Systems.


Matt Johns
Systems Architect for Rabbit Healthcare Systems, graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a BA in Accounting. He went on to work as a CPA for six years.


More interested in technology, he moved to work as a Network Administrator for Ambion, Inc., (a rapidly growing biotech company) in Austin, Texas, for 3 years. He served as a Database Administrator Information Systems Consultant for Medisun Consulting for 2 years, achieving Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification, before assisting in the creation of Rabbit Healthcare Systems.


David Schulz
Systems Developer for Rabbit Healthcare Systems, graduated with a BA in Computer Information Systems from Texas State University.


David has spent the majority of his professional career working with health related technology.  Before his current position, David worked in the area of on-line continuing medical education for the Texas Academy of Family Physicians and in the area of information technology for FirstCare, a health insurance company in Austin, Texas.
